resumption of service for line 2 of the Pink City tramway
Since Wednesday August 17, line 2 of the Toulouse tramway (Haute-Garonne) has again served all its stops. Line 1 remains at a standstill until August 26.
Toulouse public transport users have reason to rejoice. Since Wednesday August 17, line 2 of the tramway has resumed service after several weeks of shutdown.
“From Wednesday August 17, 2022, the line T2 operates normally over its entire route and thus provides service to the Palais de Justice / Ancely of the line T1” accurate Tisseo on its website.
Because line 1 of the tram remains, it, always at the stop. We have to wait until August 26 for a resumption of its desserts between stations Ancely and TO ENCOUNTER.
“T1′ Relay Buses provide the link between Ancely and MEETT every day from 5:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m.
Last departure from MEETT at 0:30. Last departure from Ancely at 1am.” always indicates Tisséo.
The stoppage of traffic since July 25 is due to the work undertaken to create a terminus at Odyssud in order to “improve” the service of the airport Toulouse-Blagnac.
In fact, the line T2 serves all of its stops again. But the line T1 remains interrupted. The stations between Ancely and MEET are therefore not served until August 26. As a reminder, the two tram lines in Toulouse stopped circular on July 25th. In question : the creation of a partial terminus at Odyssud to “better serve the airport area and Blagnac” as part of the construction of the Airport Express line (EAS).
