those days, those quality fights for the game
The Saints of Pavel Patera and Patrik Martinec will be in Slovakia for two competitive matches against Slavia and Kladno, and even though it is a summer tournament, they are not taking the Danube Cup lightly. “A confrontation with such high-quality teams is definitely an improvement of the summer training. We will try to build on two ties in the water bird matches. The most important thing will be that we see the youth play in these high-quality matches. We want to succeed and after the hockey side have an extended weekend in Bratislava, as soon as possible” said assistant trainer Patrik Martinec.
Then they will face Slovan Bratislava on Thursday in Bratislava, a day later they will face Lukko Rauma, where Tom Pavelka transferred in the summer and close the tournament with a short match against last year’s Davos. At the home tournament, Slovan will present its biggest strength – a goal Jare Coreau. In the past, Vtz of the AHL formed a pair with Petr Mrzek and in Detroit he caught 21 NHL passes. In the past two seasons, he played in Europe, namely with the Bratislava Capitals and Linz.
Fans, however, be careful when looking at the defense. Michal Sersen, world vice-champion, former QMJHL champion and five-time champion of Slovakia played in our jersey in the 2011/2012 season. For that season, he is the captain of Slovan, in which he used to be an extra-league player Juraj Wallach, Marcel Hack or you Tom Zigo.

Na Slovan in recent years umme!
Since 2012, Slovan and I have met a total of four times. At the beginning of August 2016, we won 4:2 in the home match. Three years later, the two teams met for a change in Bratislava, where we won 5:3 in the European Trophy, and a year later we won 3:2 after separate games.
