The reason ? France buys 80% of its grains of mustard to Canada. In 2021, Canada had been hit by a huge drought and huge fires.

You will learn the basics of making the condiment.
Ingredients :
- 100 grams of brown mustard seeds
- 8 tablespoons of dry white wine (or, failing that, spring water)
- 6 tablespoons of white wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon coarse salt
Start by finely grinding the mustard seeds. Then, using a whisk, mix the grind with the white wine, vinegar and salt. After a few minutes, when the preparation becomes firm, just pour the mixture into a glass jar and put it in the fridge.

In 1870, the city of Dijon had around forty mustard manufacturers. Today, only four mustard makers still remain in the capital of gastronomy.
Then let the mustard rest for a few days before consuming. Each participant in this workshop will leave with their own jar of homemade mustard.
