Un transfert salvateur pour les finances du club ?
Victorious in their match against Niort last Saturday, the Girondins de Bordeaux currently rank 2nd in the French Ligue 2 championship behind Guingamp. Managing to create more and more certainty within the workforce, David Guion’s men also see some of their partners on the way out. At the top, that of Hwang Ui Jo begins to become a file about to end positively.
At the heart of a context becoming once again favorable to the Girondins de Bordeaux, the most anticipated departures within the workforce are beginning to take shape. In the middle of the field, Jean Onana has no shortage of suitors, and could change championships in a very short time in exchange for an attractive sum. For his part, Hwang Ui Jo, who left to change clubs too, wants to be patient. This seems to work in favor of Bordeaux, close to making a bigger profit than expected.
An offer revised upwards?
At first, FC Nantes seemed to be the club best placed to attract the services of the Korean striker. Eager to strengthen its offensive sector after the departure of Randal Kolo Muani, the Nantes club seemed to want to form a trio to take turns: Hwang Ui Jo, Evann Guessand, and Mostafa Mohamed. Overwhelmed on this file, the Canaries have seen Nottingham’s competition to burst in for this transfer. Able to offer much more than the people of Loire, the English finally opted for Emmanuel Dennis on the exchange of 24 million euros.
More recently, Stade Brestois had tried its luck in turn, offered 3.5 million euros to Bordeaux to recruit the striker. Without an answer, the Breton club would have taken the decision to increase its offer according to information from 10sport. Now, 5 million euros are mentioned to complete this transaction. After the transfer of Sekou Mara in the Premier Leaguethe imminent one, by Jean Onana, and the one mentioned on the rise for Hwang Ui Jo, the Girondins, in great need of funding this season, appear in a position of strength to begin their reconstruction.
