Track cycling: Belgium wins bronze medal in the American race
The two Belgians achieved a superb performance!

Fabio Van den Bossche and Robbe Ghys took the bronze medal in the race at the American (Madison) track cycling events at the European Championships on Tuesday in Munich, Germany.
The duo composed 58 points after 250 laps and 50km over 25 sprints, one every ten laps.
The Germans Roger Kluge and Theo Reinhardt are European champions with 101 points ahead of the French Thomas Boudat and Donavan Grondin (91 pts).
This is the fifth medal for Belgium in these European Track Cycling Championships and the second for Robbe Ghys.
Lotte Kopecky won gold twice, in the points race and the elimination race on the Munich track. Robbe Ghys, 25, won the silver medal for him in the points race on Tuesday (also finishing 6th in the individual pursuit).
Jules Esters had won bronze in the race by elimination.
Fabio Van Den Bossche, 21, could not hang a medal in the omnium on Monday, taking 6th place.
Kenny De Ketele and Lindsay De Vylder took the silver medal last year in Granges, Switzerland behind the Dutch Yoeri Havik and Jan Willem van Schip, 7th only on Tuesday.
It is also Belgium’s sixth medal in these European championships which bring together nine Olympic sports in Munich from August 11 to 21, all in cycling. Tim Merlier indeed took bronze in the road cycling road race.
