The disaster on the Oder river. Marek Józefiak from Greenpeace Poland: no water quality monitoring
Marek Józefiak from Greenpeace Polska, commenting on the coverage of the Oder, said on TVN24 that our country lacks a system for producing water quality in rivers. And now who would like to be those who have a problem with the inscription for this purpose.
Marek Józefiak, the press spokesman of Greenpeace Polska, who helped us host TVN24, stated that the chances of finding out what poisoned the Odra river are getting smaller every day. – This ignorance of the state is appalling. Nomem omen the fish spoils from the head. I do not blame specific environmental protection inspectorates, but that this system is not at all – he said.
As for the quality, in the case of, for example, air, several hundred monitoring stations, which update on an ongoing basis, but above all, which provide information in the case of current waters.
– When it comes to air, each of us can check its quality for a smartphone and – even in a government application – he argued.
Travel information by anglers not by, but service of the site
Asked if, if they had influenced Polish entities, they ensured monitoring, so that on the day when the situation arose, the poisonous substance would raise an alarm, he would admit that it had happened.

Greenpeace collected samples in the Warta Mouth National Park
He added that we have a state-owned company in Poland which, as far as environmental monitoring is concerned, for the alleged law saying that we want to provide Polish rivers, but do not get the money ”.
– We, as non-governmental organizations, are of course trying to do something. Yesterday we collected samples in the vicinity of the Warta Mouth National Park. As soon as we get the results, we will inform the public – he assured.
