Summer leisure near Lyon. Le Pal, a successful mix of animals and attractions –
Text: Emma Ressegaire. PAL is an animal and zoological park located in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
In total, more than 1,000 wild animals and 31 attractions await thousands of visitors. As for the animals, species, some of which are threatened, from all walks of life are to be discovered. Elephants, giraffes, lions, hippopotamuses and wildebeest live in semi-freedom in vast enclosures. Visitors could observe the life scenes of animals just like in nature. Regarding the attractions, each has its own atmosphere, its destination.
Africa with “African hiking”, Canada with “the beaver river”, Mexico with “the disc of the sun”… Soft or thrilling attractions, for the whole family, which invite you to travel. Finally, the Pal offers accommodation thanks to its 31 lodges on stilts to spend a night in the heart of a wild nature. Visitors might wake up to hippos, zebras and other African animals.
Entrance to the Pal is 32€ for adults and 28€ for children.
