Singapore Airlines takes off from Copenhagen again
Singapore Airlines (SIA) resumes traffic with five weekly departures from Copenhagen to Singapore.
It is largely to the same destinations that previous customers booked trips to before; Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand. The route to Singapore from Oslo via Copenhagen is especially popular.
– We are very grateful for the customer’s loyalty through the pandemic. We have had a route from Oslo via Copenhagen for 45 years, and Singapore Airlines is the only company that flies directly to Singapore. Our departures are time-optimized to give travelers the best possible time in Singapore. If you want to continue, the departures are also adapted to this. With short transfer times at award-winning Changi Airport to more than 60 destinations in Asia, says Muhammad Raimi.
Now the company is increasing with five unknown departures again from Copenhagen.
SIA Group is currently experiencing increasing demand and is constantly increasing capacity. At the presentation of the financial year’s first quarter accounts, the company reported a total occupancy rate of 61. In June, the occupancy rate rose to 64.
A total of 1,938,200 passengers will fly with SIA Group in June 2022. This is 13.7 percent more than the previous month. The cabin load factor (PLF) for Singapore Airlines reached a total of 87.85 percent in June – a record high. For the European part of the traffic, the cabin factor was a whopping 92.9 percent in June.
– We are experiencing marked strength during the day, with a solid monthly growth in orders for some that are coming. The order comes from both the business and private markets in our Nordic markets. After years of pandemic, many people want to travel, visit family and friends and meet their business contacts physically, says Muhammad Raimi.
