Bozar reopens its doors after summer break | Brussels
BrusselsAfter a short summer break, the Brussels Palace of Fine Arts is ready for a new cultural season. Bozar immediately launches two new performances: ‘Milena Dopitova: Ever Odd’ and the ‘Mies van der Rohe Awards 2022’.
Due to its success, Vivian Maier’s photo exhibition will be extended until August 28. The music season will be kicked off with two concerts: the guitar-voice duo Jaroussky and Garcia in the Henry Le Bœuf Hall, and that of the Belgian National Orchestra conducted by the new conductor Anthony Hermus.
Also during the opening weekend 17 and 18 September there is a lot of music on the program. The Bozar legislation has something for everyone, with performances ranging from jazz to classical, Arabic music and Icelandic melodies. The cinema program includes the premiere of Philip Barantini’s Boiling Point, and literature fans are also spoiled with visits from renowned writers David Wengrow and Orhan Pamuk.
