Annecy. Minors implicated in clothing thefts
The police at the Annecy police station were alerted twice, on Saturday August 13, by ready-to-wear brands in the city center that were victims of mischief. In both cases, the alleged perpetrators were underage boys. Around noon, a shoe and sportswear shop on rue Carnot spotted two young people stealing jackets. The store employees managed to intercept one of them, his friend was apprehended a little further by the police. Aged 16, the two boys were left free and will be summoned to the police station to explain themselves. The jackets have been returned.
A little later in the afternoon, it was at the Nouvelles Galeries that another duo was pinched with branded underpants, for a market value of 100 euros. Having come to “do their shopping” in Annecy, the young people aged 16 and 17 and residing respectively in Contamine-sur-Arve and Étaux, were returned to their parents. They too will have to explain themselves to the authorities.
