The fifth Rapalloese appointment of the XXIV International Organ Festival “Sacred Harmonies covering the Lands of Liguria” will take place on Tuesday 16 August 2022 at the Antica Pieve di S. Stefano (known as the Oratorio dei Neri), an itinerant exhibition throughout the entire regional territory. by the Cultural Association “Rapallo Musica” ETS. The duo formed by the South Tyrolean flutist Jasmin Vorhauser and the Austrian organist Caroline Atschreiter, owner of the St. Josef zu Margareten Church in Vienna, will be the protagonists of the event, who will perform at the Truhenorgel console “Walter Chinaglia” (2012). As usual, it will also be possible to attend the concert from the garden adjacent to the oratory through a video projection system. The event benefits from the financial support of the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation, the Liguria Region, the Italian-Austrian Cultural Center of Genoa, the Austrian Cultural Forum of Milan, the Municipality of Rapallo, the Rapallo Milk Center and the Rapallo Lions Club. The event will be preceded by a concert of bells.
JASMIN VORHAUSER – He attended his first lessons of recorder, transverse flute and singing at the music school in Chiusa in South Tyrol. He is currently studying Music Pedagogy (Recorder) and Historically Informed Performance Practice (Transverse Flute) at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna. In March 2021 he graduated in recorder with a specialization in early music at the Kunstuniversität in Graz. He is part of several chamber music groups of early music. He is recorder teacher.
CAROLINE ATSCHREITER – She comes from Kematen / Ybbs (Lower Austria), a town where she attended her first piano and organ lessons at a young age. She then continues her studies at the Diocesan Conservatory and the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna, obtaining the diplomas of Sacred Music and Musical Pedagogy (organ with Wolfgang Capek and Pier Damiano Peretti, Cembalo with Wolfgang Glüxam and Johannes Bogner). She currently attends the organ teacher – early music at the same university in the class of Pier Damiano Peretti. She is an organ and piano teacher at the Linz Music School. She is an organist of the St. Josef zu Margareten church (Vienna) and regularly performs as an organist and harpsichordist, both as a soloist and in chamber and choral ensembles.
