Toulouse: wild “runs” in front of the Oncopole, two young people caught in the act by the police last night
Two drivers aged 19 and 21 were arrested by the police near the Oncopole in Toulouse where they multiplied the stopped starts on the road to Spain by making their engine scream. Placed in police custody, they will be brought this afternoon before the public prosecutor. This morning, the six participants in the illegal races on the same stretch of road have already been presented to the magistrate before being judged.
In the night from Friday to Saturday, the Toulouse police organized a punch organization against the speeders who, week, gather for illegal car races, road to Spain, in defiance of all safety rules and the Code of the road. Six participants in these wild “runs” were arrested by the police, placed in police custody and then on the morning of August 14, presented to the public prosecutor before possibly being indicted soon. The following night, around 1:30 a.m., still on their way to Spain, two individuals multiplied the stopped departures very close to the Oncopole. The nursing staff of the hospital center specializing in the treatment of cancer now systematically warns the police as soon as they start to roar their engine and drive at breakneck speed near the establishment.
The two young people engaged in high-speed races, in pairs, flank against flank, on this long straight line. They were caught in the act by the police and admitted the facts as soon as the agents showed them the video extracts of their “runs” captured by the surrounding video surveillance cameras. These 19 and 21 year old boys are represented in police custody and will be presented to the public prosecutor. Like the six other participants in these illegal races, their vehicles were seized.
