Salt Bae’s Mentor Debonesly Meat In The Bar, Then Discusses Malta-Turkish History In Mdina
The Turkish butcher who taught the famous Salt Bae for more than ten years is in Malta cutting pieces of meat and exploring the common history of the countries.
Cuneyt Asan, who goes by the over-the-top nicknames of ‘Fastest Butcher in the World’ and ‘The Professor of Meat’, attended the opening of Ottoman + by Posh Turkish at their new restaurant in Quad Towers, Mrieħel.
During the opening, he made a speech detailing how happy he was to be in “beautiful Malta” – before showing those in attendance some of his skills.
With flair and precision, Asan cut the meat presented to him, threw pieces in the air and stabbed them with his knife, thus making it clear where he got his Salt Bae style.
But that wasn’t all Asan got for it.
The day after the opening, he uploaded videos of himself exploring the historical sites of the island, including Valletta and Mdina.
And while he was in Mdina, he even goes into the fatal history that Malta and Turkey shared, going back to the Great Siege of 1565. However, Asan shows only love and respect for Malta, he even hugs the local he is talking to at the end. a conversation.
Asan has more than 40 meat-focused restaurants worldwide, employing over 2,500 people worldwide.
