Pediment. At the gates of Toulouse, walks in the heart of the vineyards
Many hikers in the Frontonnais combine walking and tasting. The choice to indulge in this delicious activity is vast. 1200 hectares of land are full of many paths as fun as they are enriching in the heart of the appellation. The most popular of them are borrowed during the famous Vitirandos. Proposed by the tourist office of the vineyard, these two routes allow an in-depth discovery of the territory. From Vacquiers, a pedestrian circuit of a dozen kilometers will challenge its hikers to recognize the aromas that delight local cuvées. The sense of smell, which is little used during this sporting activity, will be put to the test by the thirteen olfactory terminals along the path. The second, which begins at pediments, is marked by around fifteen portraits of winegrowers dotted along the way. As quirky as they are artistic, these representations highlight a personality trait, a passion or even an anecdote of the winegrowers. At the end of this summer season, themed walks (musical, heritage, food and wine, well-being, etc.) will be organized by the vineyard tourist office. These varied circuits will offer the exploration of new facets of the territory.
