Norway is increasingly directly involved in the war – now we will also train Ukrainian soldiers
Earlier this week, Minister of Defense Bjørn Arild Gram (Sp) announced that Norway will contribute with training and education of Ukrainian soldiers, writes ABC Newswho writes further:
– The Ukrainian forces need further training and education. Norway is positive about the British initiative to train Ukrainian soldiers in Great Britain. We will participate with instructors for this basic soldier training, like several other countries, said Defense Minister Bjørn Arild Gram on Thursday this week.
We have already notified about this:
Defense Minister Bjørn Arild Gram says it is relevant for Norway to train Ukrainian soldiers in the use of weapons. He does not want to rule out that it could happen on Norwegian soil.
Gram will “not rule out” that the training of Ukrainian soldiers can take place in Norway. Previously, the Minister of Defense has denied that it is relevant, wrote NTB 16 June 2022.
Besides training and education, Norway is also considering more weapon donations to Ukraine, says Gram.
– There is still a great need, the donor meeting in the Ukraine group showed yesterday. There is also a great will from allies and partner countries to continue contributing, says Gram.
The Swedish government reported on August 7:
Sweden trains Ukrainian soldiers in the UK
The government has decided that the Armed Forces will send instructors to the UK to implement basic military education for Ukrainian citizens, who can then serve in the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The aim is to do something for Ukraine to maintain and strengthen its defense capabilities.
The initiative offered basic military training for Ukrainian citizens coming from the UK, which has offered in other countries such as Canada’s members in the British defense cooperation Joint Expeditionary Force (JEF) as well as to contribute.
Britain has been training Ukrainian soldiers since 2015
Britain has been an active participant in the proxy war in Ukraine ever since it helped run Ukraine’s legally elected government in 2014.
The UK has a well-functioning program for the training of Ukrainian soldiers, a program that has been running since 2015 and which from then to 2022 has trained over 22,000 Ukrainian soldiers. The program is called Operation Orbital. Which again shows that this war did not start on February 24, 2022.
The Chief of the British General Staff, General Sir Patrick Sanders, has recently visited the first group of armed forces recruits in Ukraine on a training program to give them the skills to become effective soldiers, write British Army.
Up to 10,000 Ukrainians will be trained by the British armed forces in the coming months. The program is part of Britain’s ongoing commitment to support Ukraine, which so far amounts to more than £2.3 billion in military aid including anti-tank weapons, armored vehicles and artillery.
The early stages of a world war
The whole of NATO with the exception of Turkey is thus involved in the proxy war against Russia. There are also countries that are not members of NATO, but are enthusiastic hangouts, such as Sweden, Finland and Australia.
These countries like to call themselves the “world community”, even though they make up less than 20% of the world’s population. Men nonetheless. What they have set up is starting to look more and more like a world war, albeit a world war in its early and preliminary phase.
Unfortunately, absolutely none of the parties in the Storting take this seriously. The former peace parties SV and Rødt are now also cheerleaders for the regime in Kyiv and NATO’s war against Russia, while what they should have done was to stand at the head of a massive peace movement.
The illustration for this article is a photo from a demonstration in Oslo on 13 March this year. Some of the slogans in the demonstration called for NATO to enter the war directly. Now it looks as if the protesters are about to have their wishes fulfilled. In this photo, one of the protesters is holding the red and black flag of the Nazi organization UPA. This flag has become used in many demonstrations in the West. We are not sure if all the protesters are clear about what this flag symbolizes.
