The Cerro real estate development oriented towards environmental sustainability, located in the village of Barão São João, in the southwest of the Algarve, and “presents a creative concept totally oriented towards environmental sustainability, enhanced by its unique location on the border of Sudost Alentejo. Natural Park and Costa Vicentina”, reads a statement.
By the end of 2024, the construction of 2 luxury eco-houses in Cerro Mauro is expected to be completed. In total, there are nine detached villas, nine two-story villas and six apartments, in addition to six semi-commercial spaces and studios.
The development’s building is divided into four zones, each one integrated for different housing models. The common areas include a natural park for children, a large lake, community gardens, forests and orchards.
“This initiative came from my passion and that of my family for this place: a place of everything, where the countryside meets the sea, where the four seasons of the year are intensely used. You can relax, be active, be creative, work or spend your days alone at sea and a place children can play together, run and safely and learn the rhythms of nature”, said Dave Heminga, founder of CO Cerro Mourão.
