Ligue 1. Clermont and Toulouse are a hit, regrets for Auxerre and Lens
REIMS 2 – 4 CLERMONT
Clermont completely reversed the course of the match in Reims in the second period and left Reims with its first doubts (4-2). However at the break, Reims led very logically at the break thanks to the transformed sentences by Doumbia and Balogun.
And there… after Sunday’s rout at the Vélodrome against Marseille (4-1), the Rémois cracked at home against Clermont. The expulsion of Agbadou on returning from the locker room completely reversed the course of this match. Andric – author of a double – sounded the revolt for Clermont before Saracevic and Bela did not sink a little more completely disoriented Rémois.
GOAL AJACCIO 0 – 0
Lens was held in check on the damaged lawn of promoted Ajaccio. The Sang et Or dominated, against rigorous Corsicans in defense and who bet on the counter-attack. The ACA, timid at first, tried to project itself more but lacked impact. In the second half, Leroy frustrated the Lensois attackers as on the Openda strike (67e). Lacking offensive impact, the ACA nevertheless showed heart to unlock its counter in 2022-2023.
AUXERRE 2 – 2 ANGERS
Auxerre players can bite their fingers. After cleaning up the return home in Ligue 1 perfectly, with two goals in the first ten minutes, Jean-Marc Furlan’s men cracked… Jeanvier had opened the scoring for the locals (4e) before a CSC from the Angevin defender Hountondji (10e).
Overwhelmed, Angers gradually revived, Diony presenting the fault against Costil. At the break, Auxerre still led by one but. Then a red card (a bit silly) from Lassine Sinayoko changed the face of the game on the hour mark (57e). Sofiane Boufal’s teammates began to dominate, and Amine Salama equalized for Angers. Final score 2 to 2.
TROYES 0-3 TOULOUSE
Champions of Ligue 2 last year, Toulouse have shown that they are not there by chance. Yet the first period was quite complicated for the TFC and despite a technique of domination, they did not fit a single shot this half. But they still led in the score with Larouci’s own goal (36e).
The second act was to the advantage of Philippe Montanier’s men and Ratao sheltered Toulouse almost the hour mark before Healey concluded the match (54e). The start of the season for Troyes is very complicated with two defeats in two games and the public is not mistaken with whistles at the end of the game…
