The same player doubled Rosic’s lead in the first half, but after the break, the guests struck from a corner and could have dramatized the match. “We started the second half with a conceded goal after our penalty kick mistake. That troubles us, we get easy goals when we are not concentrating and we underestimate the situation. It happened in the cup, preparation and now also in the first competitive matches. We will focus on that,” said Rosick coach Petr Čuhel.
The most prestigious regional derby in Brno was enjoyed. Both Sparta and Morenda could win
However, his charges did not want to share the points and the opponent added three more goals. “Then we’ve done it. Every win to start is important, hopefully it will have a positive effect on the boys’ confidence, but we have to stay humble. We now have a tough match with Hodonín,” reminded the captain.
Čuhel returned to Rosice this year before the season after long years spent in the first and second leagues. “I was looking forward to it. Rosice have a great fan club that encourages the boys throughout the match. The spectators were happy because we were leading from the start. However, we have to confirm it in the next matches as well. The competition is very good and balanced, nothing should be underestimated,” said the former coach of Zbrojovka and Příbrami.
He refuses that his experience could decide the third league. “It’s not about me at all. The coaches are in a high-quality competition and the main thing is what the team transfers. It’s about the overall concept. “Rosice trains excellently, the assistant Petr Malata is excellent and certainly has a coaching career ahead of him, the club management is also skilled,” highlighted Čuhel.

He took over the team after the most successful one apart from Rosic. Last year, the club finished in fifth place and this year they are aiming for the heights again. “They played great all season so I asked why they were changing something that was working. However, it was due to Petr Čejka’s workload, so we agreed. Of course, there is so much pressure and it will be difficult to defend, but everyone here is doing their best. We want to play at the top again,” added Čuhel.
The club must be satisfied with the entry into the new season. After two matches, Rosice are in third place, after defeating Baník B from Ostrava 2:1 in the first round. “We didn’t think we could win there. However, after a fighting performance, we beat it, so we then wanted to confirm it against a newcomer at home,” described Sedláček.
Líšeň announced a duel in Vlašim. After three rounds, he leads the second league
He played 85 minutes in Ostrava and, together with two goals against Frýdlant, is experiencing an idyllic start to the season after years of suffering. Last year, he was sidelined twice with a broken collarbone. “Before that I had instep and knee problems, it was all crazy. I’m always preparing all the time and then it happened to me. In the spring I recovered and managed the last few rounds, so I decided to go full speed into the summer training. It was quite challenging mentally. I have scars about ten inches on each side, so the guys said I looked like I came from a war. Everyone joked that I wouldn’t get injured in training, I succeeded, which was more important to me than any form,” the midfielder confessed.
