A woman in the Hanover region left her two dogs in the car in the blazing sun. Neither of them survived.
A 66-year-old woman in the Hanover region left her two dogs in her car in hot temperatures. A Doberman star was there, a Chihuahua was brought to the University of Veterinary Medicine in Hanover, severely weakened.
The case happened on Friday afternoon around 5 p.m. in Altwarmbüchen, as a spokesman for the Großburgwedel police confirmed to t-online. The “Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung” reported about it first.
The police were alerted by a passer-by who happened to be passing by, the spokesman said. When the emergency services arrived at the vehicle around 5 p.m., the vehicle and dog owner arrived at the same time. Therefore, the car should not have been forced open. She must have been shopping.
