To have fun despite the heat, it’s not just swimming pools and rivers that await you this summer. Several places of creative activities are open during the month of August. So, let your sculptor or decorator side speak, in five places in the city of Toulouse.
#1 Toulouse ceramics
The workshop “Toulouse ceramics” you assist to learn or improve your skills in pottery. Open Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:45 p.m., Adeline and the other animators are there to help you make the object of your choice. Bowl, cup, vase… It’s up to you to choose what suits you and the format you want: introductory course on the potter’s wheel, painting session or even in a pottery workshop in autonomy. You have the choice !

#2 Wecandoo workshops
Wecandoo is a handy craft site. It offers various sessions of creative workshops throughout France. Just go to the page, choose and book the activity you like from the pink city. Here are some scheduled workshops in this month of August:
- Make your flowery and scented candle, August 19 and 27. These are 2h30 sessions carried out by Emilie and Laura, two wax artisans.
- Make your balm plant care, on August 23, 24, 27, 29, 30 and 31. It is a 2h00 session carried out by Patricia, producer and manufacturer of cosmetics.
- Make a leather travel diary, August 29, 30 and 31. These are 1h30 sessions carried out by Isabelle, bookbinding craftswoman.
Other workshops are organized in Toulouse and can be found on the Wanadoo website. The address and schedule of the workshops can be found when booking the sessions.
#3 Tea Coul
The workshop Tea Coul, located in François Verdier, also welcomes you until the end of August for creative arts sessions. Initiation to modeling or painting on ceramics: do what you please in the company of Maudcreator of Thé Coul.
The workshop is accessible by reservation directly from the website of Tea Coul. It is open Wednesday to Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

#4 Feather and coffee
Idea conference now with pen and coffee which is a brand new literary café in the Pink City. Elodie Baronne, the manager of the boutique, has designed a café with gourmet drinks, pastries and a furnished reading corner. A hundred second-hand books are there to read.
And that’s not all, the manager also offers several workshops: writing, making objects of all kinds, signing sessions… The café is open Tuesday to Saturday, from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
5# The creative Magnolia Café
Finally, the Magnolia Creative Cafe, located on avenue Grande Bretagne, you are waiting for “a creative break”. This café offers something to eat and several steps and activities to do with your hands.
Here is what is on offer: ceramic decoration workshop, potteryworkshop sewing machine, paper flowers… and also to paint ! It’s up to you to choose the activity that inspires you.
The activities are defined in advance, day by day, by the Magnolia Creative Cafe on its webpage. To participate, it is imperative to register by phone or email. It is open Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Wednesday to Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
