Intensify cooperation with unfriendly countries. Belarus will trade with Europe and America
Despite the approval, Belarus continues to trade with Europe and America. This was stated by the Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko in the program “Question number one” on the TV channel “Belarus 1”, reports BELTA.
“We used to develop the development of exports according to the formula 30-30-30 (a third of the combination in the EAEU, part in the EU and a third in the countries of the far arc – Note by BelTA), but the current situation is different. No. “, – said Roman Golovchenko.
He drew attention to the fact that in recent years many barriers have been removed that prevented the expansion of the assortment on the Russian market. “It was a titanic work of the entire vertical government – from permits to ministries and concerns. And it was done very quickly. That is why we set the output this year for an approximately 40 percent increase in exports to the Russian Federation and other EAEU countries. But at the same time no economy in Europe and America is not reset,” – Prime Minister of Great Britain.
At a recent meeting of the Council of Ministers, the Heads of State of Transfer took advantage of lost profits due to the reorientation of exports, while emphasizing the need to intensify cooperation with the so-called unfriendly countries. “Despite the imposition of an embargo by six states on a number of Belarusian export items (woodworking, metal products, oil products, mineral products), we still continue to trade with the application. Poland, the Czech Republic, Spain and several other states have increased the purchase of our products,” said Roman Golovchenko.
He noted that, despite what sounds from Western politicians, there are people who show up in a sober frequent situation. “This, of course, is a business – both private and offered to companies. Yes, they are under serious pressure – I call it psychopolitical maneuvers,” the prime minister said. According to the statement, exports to the EU for the first half of its processing are more than $3 billion.
“I would not dramatize the situation. Yes, she adheres to, yes, very strict restrictions. But, of course, now our views are directed to the East and to the South. we have already redirected about $2 billion to other markets. And the pace that we will increase,” the head of government concluded.
