Salinenstädter could not use numerical superiority
Hours earlier, Ernst Lottermoser had predicted a 1-0 home win for his boys in the course of the expert tip. “In the final minutes I was hoping that we wouldn’t score a second goal,” joked the St. Johanner trainer, who saw a strong performance by his St. Johanner in the first half. “We could have taken the lead earlier,” said Lottermoser. A denied Caushaj goal, a controversial and ultimately unforeseen penalty situation and some good, but all foggy chances were the reasons why it remained 0-0 until the 35th minute. In that minute, Caushaj made it 1-0 after Ajibade had prepared superbly.
The Pongauer also cuts a good figure at the start again. Until, yes, until Kendlbacher was the last man to pull out all the stops and was thrown off the field with the red box because of an emergency brake (57th). In the ten-a-side eleven, both teams scored an aluminum goal each, the promoted team from Halleiner ran against a defensively compact TSV, which hardly or not at all flashed on the offensive, but in vain.
Lapkalo collective top at home
In the parallel game, the Seekirchener kept the upper hand against the BSK with 2:1, thus inflicting the first bankruptcy of the season on the in-form Fötschl-Boys. Vorderegger (6th) and Volkert (17th) put the SVS on the road to victory early on. The Bischofshofeners should succeed in the second half through Drocic the goal.
