A festival in the footsteps of D’Artagnan, a local party, a rock concert… Here is our selection of ideas for outings to do in Toulouse and around this long weekend of August 15, 2022.
#1. Concert at the Machine Hall
La Halle de la Machine goes into concert mode this Saturday, August 13, 2022, with twin soultwo brothers who love rock!
A free concert which takes place within the framework of Halle night long, the summer festival of the machine hall. See you at 7 p.m. to take advantage of it, at 3 Avenue de l’Aérodrome de Montaudran.
#2. A canvas under the stars
It’s open-air cinema season! Several sessions are thus scheduled for this long weekend of August 15th. Meet at the Cinematheque Saturday at 9:30 p.m. for Mad Max: Fury Road with Charlize Theron and Sunday for Portrait of the girl on fire with Adèle Haenel, Sunday August 14 at 9:30 p.m.
At mirailit is rue de l’Université that you will have to go to see Dragon Ball Super: Broly at 9 p.m. (free).
Also visit the Pinsaguel Castle for Bohemian Rhapsody” with a session by the “Just dance” collective, on Saturday August 13 at 9:30 p.m.
#3. A local festival
It’s summer and the local festivals are in full swing! For this weekend of August 15, several municipalities around Toulouse are concerned. As Karaman which will notably offer a day in the colors of the Basque Country on Sunday or Villefranche-de-Lauragais which, in addition to the carnival, organizes many activities throughout the weekend.
#4. Horse Festival in Sorèze
Horse lovers will be served! The horse festival is held in Sorèze, in Lauragais, all weekend. On the program: equestrian show, equestrian and pedestrian excursions, but also obstacle competitions, etc.

#5. In the footsteps of D’Artagnan in the Gers
It is undoubtedly the star of the Gers and Lupiac: the tenth edition of the festival dedicated to D’Artagnan is held in the town this weekend.
You will come across armed and uniformed musketeers there, you can learn Gascon dances or stroll through the aisles of a craftsmen’s market.
