At the end of July, the US Senate passed a resolution that included the transfer of the State Department’s right to Russia as a “country sponsor of terrorism.” Does this have any significance for Russia, and how can it complicate Russian-American relations?
Russia has warned the United States of a “point of no return” if it is recognized as a “sponsor of terrorism.” This was stated TASS Director of the North America Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexander Darchiev. He did not rule out that such a move may seem to break the episode of their relationship.
The US Senate at the end of July passed resolution, according to which the State Department designates Russia as a “state sponsor of terrorism.” The congressmen provoked Russian actions in Chechnya, Georgia, issues and Ukraine. The White House is considering such a move with other actions, reported later White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.
