Andrea Bocelli gives two concerts at the Altice Arena in Lisbon in 2023 – Observer
The Italian tenor and composer Andrea Bocelli will perform at the Altice Arena in Lisbon on June 30 and July 1, 2023, in two “unprecedented” concerts, in which he will be accompanied by an orchestra and a choir.
“After having sold out the Altice Arena in 2017, the Estádio Cidade de Coimbra in 2021, at the first post-pandemic concert held in Portugal in a stadium, Andrea Bocelli returns to contact with the Portuguese public and promises a special night full of strong emotions , on a sublime journey to the sound of their world-renowned hits”, reads a statement released today.
According to the event’s memoir, Memories with a promoter of tomorrow (MOT), the will also take the stage with an orchestra of distinguished musicians” and with a choir “composed of a musical post of voices”.
Andrea Bocelli is one of the most renowned musicians ever. The Italian has already performed in major international events, such as the Ceremonies of the Class of the Olympic Football Games, in 2006, in 2006, which took place in several cities on the continent.
The tenor holds a Golden Globe, seven Classical BRIT and seven World Music Awards, as well as a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Andrea Bocelli thus returns to Portugal after playing at Estádio Cidade de Coimbra on June 25 and 26, 2021, after having sold out the Altice Arena in Lisbon in 2017.
The Italian tenor’s performance in Coimbra was scheduled for 2020, but the concert was postponed to June last year due to the covid-19 pandemic. Tickets are on sale at www.concertocoimbra.pt and at usual places.
