On Friday August 12, around 8:30 p.m., a woman in her forties was the victim of a serious paragliding accident at the end of the flight at the Doussard landing area, between the roads of Pont -Monnet and the Plain.
In circumstances that remain undetermined, the paraglider suddenly stalled and fell more than 50 meters. The Dragon 74 civil security helicopter was hired to rescue and take care of the polytraumatized paraglider. Medicalized on the spot, the victim was transported in a state of absolute emergency to the Annecy hospital. His vital prognosis is engaged.
On Saturday June 4, a paraglider suffered a violent return to the ground on landing in Doussard. Despite the intervention of the emergency services, the 39-year-old man could not be revived.
