Clermont. At the end of the contract, Damian Penaud arouses envy
He could be one of the big draws in the transfer market, if Clermont doesn’t lock him down soon. At the end of his contract with ASM at the end of the 2022-2022 season, the French international winger Damien Penaud (25 years old; 34 selections) should not lack covetousness. According Midi-Olympicthe native of Brive could be seduced by the Toulouse stadium, who is his first choice, even if the operation of a transfer seems complex from a financial point of view for leaders of the stadium who have already invested large sums to bring in the French internationals Melvyn Jaminet and Pierre-Louis Barassi. If the track leading to Toulouse fails, the Race 92 would be his second option. The Ile-de-France club, which has just recruited Cameron Woki, has made Damian Penaud a priority for the 2023-2024 season. File to follow very closely.

The name of the first, Tolofua, returns with insistence on the side of Toulonwhere his younger brother Christopher (28; 7 caps) has been varying since 2019. This could lead to a backstage skirmish, according to Midi-Olympic. In addition to the RCT, which will be looking for a successor to Sergio Parisse next summer, Clermont and Montpellier could also be very active at number 8, due to the upcoming end of Fritz Lee’s contract and the probable return of Zach Mercer to England. As it concerns Pierre-Henry Azagohhis current club Stade Français is determined to keep him, but the competition promises to be fierce, since the player trained in Massy (Essonne) has several contenders among the big teams of the elite.
