Also, the Kazakh side has been supplying 3.5 million tons of oil annually since 2023 through the nearest international pipeline Baku-Supsa, which goes to Georgia.
Kazakhstan is looking for alternatives to the Caspian Pipeline Consortium, which Russia may close. For 20 years, oil supplies from Kazakhstan were carried out through CPC pipes to Novorossiysk. However, the city court soon suspended CPC’s 30-day activity due to an oil spill exhibition.
