Fernando Daniel and Vitor Kley will perform at the largest wine festival in the Lisbon region
Between the 15th and 18th of September, you can taste more than 300 references at Alma do Vinho, in Alenquer.
Two years later, the Alma do Vinho festival is back in Alenquer. Red, white, rosé or sparkling wines are the protagonists of the event. Between the 15th and 18th of September, you will be able to discover the region’s references.
There will be 40 producers at Parque Urbano da Romeira, where the biggest wine festival in the Lisbon region will take place. The initiative has a vast program, which includes commented tastings, showcooking, tastings, handicraft shows, children’s shows and street entertainment.
Alongside the celebrations associated with wine, music is celebrated with concerts on four nights. On the 15th of September, on the opening night (Thursday), Luís Trigacheiro took the stage at 10 pm. Before, several folkloric bands would dance in the Institutional Square.
The next day, it is Vitor Kley who works in the city of Alenquer. The Xutos e Pontapés will cheer the public on Saturday and it is Fernando Daniel who closes the festival on Sunday. The event venue will also have spaces for children and at the end of the night, its visitors will always be entertained by DJs.
Just half an hour from Lisbon, in one of the most characteristic wine regions in the country, this is now the fourth edition of Alma do Vinho. Tickets can be purchased at the Alenquer tourist office, in place of the event and at the Alenquer City Council service desk and its value varies depending on the modality.
On the first day you can enter for €5, on the other days you can enter for €10. Alternatively, you can choose to buy a four-day pass for €25. For a family of two adults and three children, the daily ticket costs €20. Up to 10 years old do not pay the entrance fee as long as they are matched by an adult holding a valid ticket.
