Acceptance of the Polish KPO by the European Commission
At the beginning of June, the European Commission approved the Polish National Reconstruction Plan. To take a step towards the EU disbursement 23, € 11.5 billion has been foreseen as part of the servicing of the euro under the Reconstruction Fund. The EC noted, inter alia, that the Polish KPO “contain milestones as part of the support that have an impact on the environment, which are expected to improve the climatic conditions and shape the location of the subsidiaries” and “Poland must designate that these stones are to be built before services provided by institutions” .
In an interview with Dziennik Gazeta Prawna, the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen noted that in order to receive money from the KPO, Poland must be launched thanks to the fact that it was possible to achieve a reform of the system of competent judges. She admitted that the new law – the amendment to the Act on the Supreme Court – was an attempt, but it did not guarantee judges the possibility of questioning the status of another judge without risking disciplinary liability. Von der Leyen wrote that Polish music also added to the decisions of the Court of Justice of the EU, which does not yet provide an additional increase – it does not attach itself to the adjudication of suspended judges.
