Frankfurt/Main (dpa/lhe) – In the trial against the alleged right-wing extremist Marvin E., the accused is scheduled to be admitted to the Higher Regional Court (OLG) in Frankfurt this Friday (12:00 p.m.). The 20-year-old North Hesse has to answer for the attempted founding of a terrorist organization and the preparation of a serious act of violence that endangers the state. The federal prosecutor accuses him of having planned attacks with firearms and explosive devices for right-wing extremist motives. He had been looking for like-minded people for a terrorist organization on social media for weeks, according to the indictment at the opening of the trial last week.
The State Protection Senate, which is made up of three professional judges, has to decide whether juvenile criminal law will be applied against the accused, since he is said to have started the crimes as an adolescent at the age of 19. Marvin E. has been in the examination shaft since his arrest in September 2021.
