San Marino. European Swimming and Artistic Swimming Championships: Jasmine Verbena hits a historic final
First day of competitions for the biancazzurri athletes involved in the European Swimming and Artistic Swimming Championships in Rome. Good news came in particular from the synchro, where Jasmine Verbena, engaged this morning in the elimination of the free solo, concentrated an extraordinary final with the eleventh score (80.1333).
The one conquered by the blue-white athlete, born in 2000, is a historic final for the San Marino colors in the free solo (last year he had touched it, ranking 13th), while in the double the same Verbena, together with Jasmine Zonzini, had concentrated the present entry last year.
The final is scheduled for Sunday in the morning; tomorrow, meanwhile, Verbena will return to the pool together with her partner Jasmine Zonzini for the eliminations of the free duo and will also face the program of the only technician (direct final).
It is not so good for swimmers, in particular for Giacomo, who suffered an injury during the warm-up that could compromise the results of the scheduled races. Casadei has however completed the 100 breaststroke in 1.03.90, closing in 41st place (1.02.59 his staff).
For Alessandro Rebosio, in the 50 butterfly, a test slightly above his personal: he closes in 25.81, a time that is worth 56th place.
