San Marino. A questionnaire to understand how to enhance the heritage of the Titan
A series of questions to be filled in anonymously in 5 minutes: “From this a map of perceived and cultural consumption will be born”
An online questionnaire, which can be completed anonymously in about 5 minutes and will contribute to a research project on the perception of San Marino regarding the enhancement of the cultural heritage of the Titan, was developed by the degree courses in Design byUniversity of the Republic of San Marino and is now available on the Google Form platform.
“The initiative – explains the coordinator Margo Lingua – is part of a process through which we intend to involve the people of San Marino to understand, in detail, which cultural assets are well valued and which, on the other hand, would require further planning effort. In this sense, the more people will answer the questions, the more complete and timely our analyzes can be “.
A broad panorama of the aspects analyzed, which may affect structures and symbols such as the Three Towers or Palazzo Pubblico, also involving libraries, archaeological sites, nature trails and more: “The intention – adds Anna Guerra from the research group – is to understand if who he lives in the republic is culturally active, if for example he goes to the cinema or the theater, how often, and if he thinks it can be done to improve his experience, from all points of view. From this a map of the perception and cultural consumption of the San Marino citizens will be born ”.
The initiative involves a network of subjects which includes university professors, architects, academics, designers, doctoral students and more. “Precisely with a view to supporting local institutions in defining regeneration plans and processes – reads the presentation of the project, launched this year – we want to promote, as a privileged field of experimentation for the theoretical and practical development of research, the environmental complex consisting of Monte Titano, with Borgo Maggiore and in particular the historic center of San Marino understood as a small fortified city, representative of a State “.
