A signature before Monaco?
After having strengthened in defense and in particular in central defense (signatures of Theate and Rodon), Stade Rennais is now attacking the offensive sector, in search of an attacker. In this sense, the Breton team would be about to register the arrival of Arnaud Kalimuendo (PSG).
A player desired by the club
While Kalimuendo seemed, for a time, to be heading towards Leeds (Premier League), the 20-year-old striker will finally join Brittany and Stade Rennais. In fact, for several hours an agreement between PSG and Rennes is very close to being found for the transfer of the Parisian titi, it should reach the sum of 25M€, bonus included. Ile-de-France residents also negotiated a percentage on a possible future sale of the player. Arnaud Kalimuendo will therefore definitely leave Paris Saint-Germain, after two seasons on loan, on the side of RC Lens (21 goals in 65 games played in all competitions).
An MHSC player also targeted?
As the SRFC scouted everywhere to find their missing striker, Stade Rennais was interested, a few weeks ago, in the opponent belonging to Montpellier Hérault Sporting Club, Elye Wahi. However this track quickly took the lead in the face of the price demanded by the Hérault leaders for the 19-year-old player under contract until 2025 (33 games played and 10 but registered in Ligue 1 UberEats, last season), i.e. approximately €25 million.
