Come every year, the magical night of San Lorenzo is among the most anticipated of the month of August. In Rome there are several places to admire the shooting stars: terraces, villas and gardens where the lighting does not disturb the vision of the starry sky.
As everyone knows, the night of San Lorenzo is the one between 10 and 11 August. The chances of spotting the swarm of shooting stars are highest between 11 and 13 August, an interval in which it is possible to see more ‘falling’ than on the night of San Lorenzo alone. The stars, however, were already visible from 9 August, some lucky ones have already managed to see them.
Where to see the stars in Rome? Surely the most popular and romantic places are the Janiculum, the Pincio terrace, the Orange Garden, the Zodiac in Monte Mario, Villa Ada, the park of the Aqueducts, Caffarella. There are also numerous events organized for the occasion, from the night ride to the Castelli Romani to the popular music concert at the Verano Garden, in the San Lorenzo district.

The events in Lazio for the night of San Lorenzo
In the capital and its surroundings there are also many events organized specifically for the night of San Lorenzo. In the neighborhood of the same name, in Giardino Verano, a popular music concert will cheer onlookers, while fireworks will explode outside the walls, to add stars a star.
