Two hooded men on scooters robbed a group on Tuesday at the end of the afternoon in Colomiers. The police who revealed themselves there had to draw their weapons.
The scene is surreal and takes place in broad daylight in the heart of Colomiers, west of Toulouse. This Tuesday, around 6:30 p.m., the police are called by witnesses for a fight with iron bars and knives, place du Val d’Aran. A patrol from the specialized western field brigade as well as the municipal police went to the site.
They find that everything is calm when they arrive. The police visit the common areas of the building and control the people who are on the scene but find no witness to the brawl. It is at this moment that two hooded individuals dressed in black burst in, perched on a red scooter from the alley of the Tourmalet.
Armed with a handgun, the passenger threatens a group of boys sitting on chairs, in front of the police. Pointed, the victims run away and shout that there is a weapon. The police find themselves facing the scooter duo. One of the officials then pulls out his service weapon and coolly asks the armed man to put his down.
The scene lasts a few seconds then the two suspects, surprised by the situation, let go of their scooter and run away. No shot is fired. One of the two men, aged 17, was quickly arrested but the weapon was not found. He is taken into custody. Five people aged 16, 17, 18 and 21 must file a complaint for the threats.
