Indicators go down again. Portugal with 3,025 cases and seven deaths in 24 hours
Portugal recorded seven deaths and more than three thousand new Covid-19 cases, on a Wednesday of descent compared to the previous one.
The data advanced today by General Directorate of Health (DGS)– which always refer to the previous day – revealed that in the last 24 hours there were seven deaths and 3,025 more cases of infection with the new coronavirus.
This means, compared to the data released at the fair, that there is a decrease in infections (yesterday there were 3,932). Deaths also dropped from 10 the previous day.
In a report on the evolution of the pandemic, the Ricardo Jorge Institute (INSA), reveals that the average number of infections by the coronavirus has dropped again in Portugal to 4488 daily cases, the lowest value recorded during this year.
According to the INSA’s weekly report on the evolution of covid-19 released last week, the average number of five-day daily cases fell again from 5479 to 4488 at the national level, being the lowest on the continent (4153).
It has an average onset of SARS-CoV-8 onset to low recorded that started with high values up to height 8, in which those with averages from the beginning of May to the country, which went down by line 2 .5 of the Ómicron variant, considered by experts to be more transmissible.
