Deliveroo Roller Bike Parade will once again pass through Antwerp on August 25: “Rolling and dancing through the city” (Antwerp)
The Deliveroo Roller Bike Parade, organized by Beegroupe, will once again pass through Antwerp’s city center on Thursday 25 August. “After a successful first edition, we once again received the green light from the Antwerp police”, Bram Bo. Still one important thing to do: you have to move around on wheels. Roller skates, bicycles, scooters, longboards… it’s all possible.

Except for a few minor flaws, the Antwerp police were extremely pleased with the first edition of the Deliveroo Roller Bike Parade on July 29. “The cooperation between the police, the sponsor Deliveroo and the organizers went so smoothly that everyone saw an edition,” says Emilie Lewandowski, Sponsorship Manager at Beegroupe.
The Deliveroo Roller Parade will again pass through the Antwerp city center on August 25 and will always follow the same route as the first edition. The parade departs from Theaterplein and then crosses the Leien and the Scheldt quays. Everyone will be accompanied by big local DJs on two big trucks during the tour, “rolling and dancing around town.”
Co-organizer Bram Bo is already eager for the second edition of the Roller Parade on August 25, he is also convinced that it will be an even greater success. “I expect that at least 200 to 300 people will participate in the next edition, about a hundred people were present during the first edition. Because everyone was so enthusiastic, the Antwerp Roller Parade will reach many people through word of mouth.”
The ambition is great, the ultimate example is the Roller Parade in Düsseldorf, “About 5,000 people come every week. That is a big difference, we are not there yet, but that is the target”, says Bram.
