Macron and Johnson declared their intention to continue cooperation in providing military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
“The President of the Republic and the Prime Minister confirmed their determination to provide assistance to Ukraine as much as necessary and to maintain a high level of coordination between partners to meet the military, humanitarian and economic needs of the Ukrainian people,” the statement said.
It is noted that the interlocutors also discussed the food crisis caused by Russian aggression against Ukraine. Macron and Johnson reiterated their support for Europe’s efforts to export products by road and river transport as part of “solidarity routes”.
