“This year’s theme is Heart Matters. It reflects the human rights aspect of the whole festival. The heart is not only in our logo, but there are also eight billion hearts beating all over the world,” festival director Tom Bílý wrote for Czech Radio.
“i mean all hearts matter. It is a symbol of life, belonging, mutual love and humanity. The theme is reflected in almost all 150 festival events.“
In addition to the weekly program, the organizers of the debate have prepared concerts, workshops, and theater performances. According to Bílí, there is no entrance fee for most of the events, so they are accessible for free. The program with details is at website.
The culmination of the weekly program will be a traditional carnival parade. It will depart on Saturday after noon from the lower part of Wenceslas Square.
