In August, you can look forward to a unique experience that Gabriel Loci, magician and mentalist Michal Nesveda, will bring to the summer stage. Under the wide sky in the area of the former monastery of St. Gabriela in Smíchov will be swept away by an unprecedented show full of experiments and delusions. One of the most dangerous escapes in the world is also on the agenda. The illusionist show Továrna na premiered in January this year at the Divadle pod Palmovkou, and on the Gabriel Loci summer stage, it was performed outdoors for the first time in July, and will see six more repetitions here. In addition to the mentalist viewers of experiments that trick the viewers’ minds and convince their brains that all logical explanations, they will have the opportunity to see one of the most terrifying escapes. This is an escape from a burning trap that is suspended 6 meters above the ground. They will also learn how to correctly select the winning numbers for the lottery draw and witness a wonderful magic with live fish. Michal Nesveda has been practicing magic for 15 years, specializing in mentalistic experiments. He is recognized both in the Czech Republic and abroad, and has collected numerous awards at international and domestic competitions. Michal is the first Czech and at the same time the youngest magician in the world who dared to perform Harry Houdini’s most famous trick – escaping from a thousand liter water tank. In the Gabriel Loci area, spectators will be able to refresh themselves in Bar Gabriel with an unmistakable atmosphere in the garden of the historical complex. The bar offers a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, selected wines from different parts of the world and street food snacks with meat and vegetarian dishes.
Gabriel Loci has earned his unique position on the Prague cultural scene. Cultural events, music festivals, fashion shows are held here, films and series from domestic and foreign production are filmed here. The former Benedictine monastery, which Cimex Invest bought from the Czech Post in 2020, is gradually coming back to life. The monastery is currently home to more than 30 artists who not only draw ideas and ideas for their work here, but also have full-fledged facilities here.
