San Marino, Mototherapy returns in September
Three days of appointments with Mototherapy, scheduled at Multieventi sport domus from 9 to 11 September, with the event “However what a show”. The idea, the organizers explain, “to create a promotional event by highlighting in practice the beneficial effects that Mototherapy causes in people with disabilities”. A therapy, therefore, “linked to the world of motors and which has positive consequences: the strengthening of self-esteem, learning to overcome fear, and all the sensations that this type of experience can like the simple ignition of a smile”. Vanni Oddera, freestyle motocross champion, will be present, who, thinking he can give his passion for the benefit of the most vulnerable children, invented Mototherapy in 2009, even bringing it into the wards of various hospitals in Italy and beyond. It will be an event open to all, especially to children and their families, to let them try experiences together with children with disabilities, young people and adults, getting on motorcycles, mini-bikes, quads, go-karts, rally cars, airplanes and even aboard a hot air balloon. Finally, the focus will be on solidarity, allocating the proceeds deriving from the free offers to the Montetauro Social Cooperative of Coriano, which carries out a social-assistance-health service towards minors and adults with disabilities, minors and girls in serious socio-family situations, girls mothers and immigrants, and safety children with disabilities assisted by the complex operating unit of Pediatrics of the Institute for Social of the Republic of San Marino.
