Wolverhampton Wanderers offered £10m for £18m Everton target
Wolverhampton Wanderers have made a £10million bid for Everton target and Strasbourg striker Ludovic Ajorque, according to The sun.
Wolverhampton Wanderers make offer for Everton, Ludovic Ajorque
The Sun reported that Wolves and Everton are keen to sign Ajorque from Strasbourg during the summer transfer window.
Wanderers have made an opening offer of £10m including extras, but French club Strasbourg want an £18m transfer fee for the 28-year-old Frenchman.
Newcastle United have also been linked with a move for Ajorque.
But! Soccer club Journalist Ignazio Genuardi reported last month that Ajorque was on Newcastle manager Eddie Howe’s radar.
Statistics
Ludovic Ajorque has been on Strasbourg’s books since 2018 and has established himself as one of the best strikers in the French league.
The attacker did 31 starts and five substitute matches in Ligue 1 for Strasbourg last season.
The 28-year-old has scored 12 goals and provided eight assists in those matches.
Ajorque has made 34 starts and one appearance as a substitute in the league in 2020-21.
The striker has scored 16 goals and provided four assists in those matches.
Ajorque is at the top of his game at the moment, and for £18million he would be a decent option to have in attack for Wolves or Everton.
