Volta a Portugal: the history of winners at the Tower
Maurício Moreira was the first to cross the finish line this Sundayin the mythical climb to the Tower, which marks the Tour of Portugal by Bike, joining a luxury list of cyclists who won the queen stage of the Volta.
Joaquim Gomes, Rui Sousa and David Blanco were the cyclists who have already scored twice in the Tower. Joaquim Agostinho and Nuno Ribeiro also won the stage twice, but in one of them they were disqualified for doping.
