Red Bull Salzburg: Friend update on Camara and Sesko – Soccer
Mohamed Camara’s future at FC Red Bull Salzburg appears to be still open.
Even head of sport Christoph Freund finds it difficult to assess what will happen by the end of this transfer period.
The midfielder’s desire to change is known: “But all parties are always part of it, so far there has been no agreement with a club.”
At the beginning of July, the 22-year-old moved to Leeds United for a reported 30 million euros.
“I cannot rule out that there will be no more agreement in this transfer window,” said Freund, “but it is difficult to estimate that in percentage terms because something often happens in August because clubs still react after the start and also the corresponding ones have the opportunity.”
Camara would currently be training again: “We’ll see when he’s really an issue. It will certainly be requested from him that he’s fully fit and operational again.”
Friend: “Sesko stays safe”
However, the sports director rules out Benjamin Sesko’s departure.
“He’s staying for sure. There are a lot of rumors and everything I’ve read, how much money we’ve supposedly gotten or what new club he’s with. That will always be the case when young players perform like that and have so much potential. “, so friend at “Sky”.
Sesko has already confirmed his whereabouts: “He feels very comfortable here and will use the next few months to develop further. Salzburg is currently the perfect club for him.”
