Ukrainian cities continue to be exposed to almost daily shelling by the Russian army. Against this background, the courts in relation to Russia, the political leadership of the country take hostages for negotiations. Basketball player Brittney Greiner has become a new victim of the country – she was detained at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo airport six months ago and accused of possessing electronic cigarettes with hash oil. Now the court issued an unprecedented severity of the sentence – 9 years in a penal colony.

After a series of Israeli airstrikes that killed one of the commanders of the State Islamic Jihad group Taysir Jabari, as well as several stops, Palestinian militants began shelling Israeli territory. In total, by now they have received almost 200 missiles, most of which were intercepted by the Iron Dome. However, at present, the parties are already being checked to agree on a truce.

On August 4, the families of Azovstal defenders held a rally in memory of those killed in Yelenovka on Sophia Square in Kyiv. Relatives of the fighters took to the square with posters, some of them smeared red paint on their personal and face, symbolizing blood. Almost 200 people took part in the performance: they returned alive the soldiers of the Azov regiment, who are currently in Russian captivity.
