Azimut-Benetti is preparing for the leading role in the salons looking to 2023

Sugar Mizzy August 7, 2022

VIAREGGIO – The boat shows are confirmed as a precious moment for the Azimut-Benetti Group, world leader in boating, to reach the market with its most significant models and anticipate important innovations linked to the Group’s pioneering vision and constant stylistic research and innovation technological. It is in this perspective that the holding led by the Vitelli family will participate in the boat shows scheduled in Cannes (6-11 September), Genoa (22-27 September) and Montecarlo (28 September-1 October).

At the Yachting Festival scheduled along the quays of Vieux Port and Port Canto, in the heart of the Croisette, the new models of the respective ranges will be exhibited: Azimut will be present with the premieres Magellano 30M, Grande 26M and Grande 36M, but also with 10 other boats, among the such as Magellano 66, for the first time on display outside Italy; Benetti will instead be represented by the Oasis 34M and the B.Yond 37M, première of this show, and by the Motopanfilo 37M.

Following will be the Genoa Boat Show, from 22 to 27 September, to frame the news of Azimut which for the occasion will exhibit the Grande 26M. Finally, a double appointment with both brands at the Monaco Yacht Show on stage from 28 September to 1 October: at the Monegasque event, which has always been dedicated to superyachts and mega yachts, there will be Magellano 30M, Grande 36M and Grande Trideck for the Azimut brand; B.Yond 37M and, for the first time on display, Triumph 65M and B.Now 50M Iryna for the Benetti brand.

In the three manifestations The Italian group will therefore be at the forefront and will undoubtedly play a leading role, contributing once more to enhancing the Made in Italy of great boating that knows no crisis. The Cannes catwalk is particularly significant, where Azimut will unveil, as mentioned, three world premieres: Magellano 30M, Grande 26M and Grande 36M. But not only that: along the docks of the French show the already well-known Grande Trideck, Magellano 25M, Magellano 66, Fly 78, Fly 68, Fly 53, S10, S8, S6 Atlantis 51 will also be on display. Unfortunately there will not be, however, neither the Verve 42 nor the 47, the “little ones” of the Azimut range, which have received an excellent reception in America but have never been launched in Europe.

The 30M, the new flagship of the Magellano Line (sea crossover of great appeal and great functionality) is a modern yacht in its conception and ability to simultaneously offer great freedom of navigation in different sea conditions, ample comfort in the use of the interior spaces and an avant-garde design the result of the collaboration between Azimut and two exceptional creatives: the Italian Vincenzo De Cotiis, who oversaw the sophisticated interiors with irregular geometries, and the English Ken Freivokh, whose clean vision has elegantly sculpted the exteriors. Like the others in the range, the new Magellano 30M is also part of the Azimut Low Emission Yacht family thanks to the use of the Dual Mode hull which reduces emissions by 20% compared to traditional hulls.

Large 26M and 26M will be the other two stars on show in Cannes, with the aim of where the ambition of a project aimed at redefining them can go by enhancing versatility, ingenuity, technological intuition and attention to design (signed by Alberto Mancini for the exteriors and Achille Salvagni for the interiors).

It will surprise visitors of the Yachting Festival on the Côte d’Azur, the Fold Up Sea View Terrace, that is the tailgate of the Grande 26M which, by lifting and rotating upwards, adds a portion of square meters to the cockpit, transforming it into a sensational terrace overlooking the sea. And it will not fail to amaze the larger 36M, the first to insert the semi-walkaround upper deck that runs from the stern to the extreme bow on a single level.
