1. FC Germania Egestorf/Langreder beats Arminia Hannover
The second round of the duel between 1. FC Germania Egestorf/Langreder and SV Arminia Hannover also went to the Deister team. After the 2-0 win in the NFV Cup a week ago, coach Antonios Agaoglou’s team now won 5-0 in the Oberliga.
Egestorf. Same pairing, different competition, clearer result: A week after the 2-0 win in the NFV Cup, 1. FC Germania Egestorf/Langreder also beat SV Arminia Hannover at the start of the Oberliga. This time it was even 5:0 (3:0) at the Ammerke. “I’m super satisfied. We played a very strong game and were very safe,” said Egestorf’s coach Antonios Agaoglou. His counterpart on Arminia’s side, Marko Orsolic, was served. “It’s depressing because it could have gone differently,” he said.
According to their coach, the guests from Hanover slept through the first half completely. “We weren’t there at all and made a lot of individual mistakes,” said Orsolic. With help from Elias Beck, Lorenzo Paldino made it 1-0 (24th minute), and Beck scored the second goal (32nd). The outstanding Beck was also involved in Jos Homeier’s 3-0 lead (36′). “Elias acted very confidently. He is a fast and dribbling player and, as planned, won the one-on-one situations on the outside,” said Agaoglou.
