NIO starts hiring for its first NIO house in Sweden – EV

Electric car maker NIO on Friday began its search for a sales advisor and a NIO House specialist amid its planned arrival in the Nordic country later this year.
In the coming months, NIO will open several European NIO houses in Norway, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden and Denmark.
According to EV’s experience, NIO House in Stockholm’s capital will be located at Stureplan, an iconic square in the middle of the city.
Sweden is part of NIO’s 2022 expansion plan to enter Germany, the Netherlands and Denmark – after arriving in Europe via Norway in late 2021.
The Chinese manufacturer will enter the four new European markets in the coming months with its NIO ET7 sedan with the NIO ET5 model following in spring 2023.
Stureplan is one of the most touristic areas of the city and home to some of the most expensive restaurants in the country and also to luxury brands such as Gucci, Chanel and Louis Vuitton.

NIO is now seeking a Sales Consultant who will be responsible for creating and building relationships with potential and current NIO users, ensuring maximum user satisfaction, but also planning and executing car deliveries and returns accurately and on time, the company says.
The NIO House Specialist will represent the NIO values to the users and create an extraordinary ‘out of this world’ experience for them, ensuring that the user experience always exceeds expectations, NIO said.

Two weeks ago, Deutsche Bank analyst Edison Yu released a new note stating that NIO CFO Wei Feng confirmed that the company is currently building its NIO houses in Munich and Rotterdam, adding that the electric car maker plans “to enter even more countries [in 2023] moving from north to south”.

Last month, the exact location of the new NIO house in the German capital of Berlin was also revealed. The first store in the country is located in a tourist area in central Berlin right in front of the Zoo Palast and the Zoologischer Garden underground station. The location was confirmed through the details revealed on the job notification where NIO is named as the company responsible for the renovation.
The EV manufacturer has added NIO houses and has always reinforced that they are much more than a showroom for their products.
According to the company, these facilities include a living room (to relax and meet like-minded people), a lab (to increase productivity in bookable meeting rooms and shared workspace), a library, forums (to spark ideas and inspiration), a “NIO Café” , and a Joy Camp dedicated to children.
At the same time, the company is already preparing for the second phase of its European expansion into seven new countries: Austria, Belgium, France, Hungary, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and Portugal.
During the final NIO Day – held in December 2021 – the electric car maker confirmed its plan to expand its services to 25 markets by 2025.
