Brussels on a budget: These Brussels parties are completely free this summer
kiosk radio
In the heart of the Warande Park, just in front of the palace of King Philippe, there is a charming wooden kiosk where live radio is broadcast every day. You can go there for a drink under the trees, but especially for an eclectic range of music. During the weekends, it is often not enough to just listen, and you can dance to the beats of the most exciting, daring Brussels DJs.
Outdoor to Circle Park
If you’re not a night owl, but want to party one, you can visit Circle Park every weekend (as good as always) for free from 2 pm. From hard-hitting techno to euphoric house: until the end of summer you can dance in the blazing sun on the trendy industrial site in Anderlecht. Are the legs tired? There are also delicious snacks of products available to give your energy a boost.
Fairy tales (22 – 26 August)
Fairy ties have gradually become a fixture in the capital. This year, the festival descends from the Ancienne Belgique to Gare Maritime, the real architectural site of Tour & Taxis. For a whole week you can taste what they themselves call a «musical smorgasbord». Think synth pop, Ethiopian jazz and experimental dance music. End free of charge!
